1. Processing of personal data within the digital presences

1.3 Deletion of your personal data

Your personal data will be deleted as soon as the purpose for which we collected and processed the data no longer applies. Beyond this point in time, data will only be stored if this is required by valid legal regulations of the European Union or the Federal Republic of Germany. In addition, we process personal data for purposes of safeguarding our legitimate interests as well as the legitimate interests of third parties in accordance with Art.6 para. 1f DSGVO.

1.4 Social plug-ins and transfer of personal data to third parties
We use so-called „social plug-ins“ from social networks such as Google+ or Facebook on our websites. These are integrated as follows:

When you access our websites, the „social plug-ins“ are deactivated, i.e. there is no transmission of data to the operators of these social networks. If you wish to use one of the social networks, click on the corresponding „Social PlugIn“ to activate it and a connection will be established with the server of the respective social network. If you are logged in to the social network at the moment of activating the „Social PlugIn“, the social network can assign your visit to our websites to your user account there. Then the social network transmits content directly to your browser, which integrates it into our websites. At this moment, data may also be transmitted that is initiated and controlled by the respective social network. Please bear in mind that this may involve personal data being transferred to countries outside the European Economic Area that do not ensure an „adequate level of protection“ from the perspective of the European Union. If you log out of the social network before activating the „Social PlugIn“, the social network cannot assign your visit to our websites. An activated „Social PlugIn“ remains active until you deactivate it or delete your cookies.

1.5 Newsletter

You can sign up on our website to receive our newsletter. For this, we only need your e-mail address and a confirmation that you have read the declaration of consent and the privacy policy. 2. Use of external service providers

massup uses services of third parties (e.g. hosting) for the data processing of personal data mentioned in this Privacy Policy. These third parties are bound by contracts for commissioned processing pursuant to Art.28 et seq. DSGVO with massup. The processing of personal data takes place exclusively according to instructions and under the control of massup in the manner specified here. Compliance with an appropriate level of data protection is thus ensured for all our service providers.

For these countries, there is no adequacy decision of the EU Commission. An adequate level of protection has been demonstrated here by certification under the „EU-U.S. Privacy Shield“ or massup has concluded contracts with the listed non-European service providers in accordance with the EU standard contractual clauses. This ensures an adequate level of protection of the data processing by these service providers. 3. Data security

To protect the personal data for which we are responsible, massup uses technical and organizational security measures. These correspond to the current state of the art and are continuously improved according to technological developments. The measures used aim to protect the data in terms of confidentiality (protection against access by unauthorized persons), availability (protection against loss or destruction) and integrity (protection against manipulation) as well as authenticity (protection of identity).

4. Revocation of consents, right of objection, correction

For a revocation or an objection as well as a correction or addition, no costs are incurred by massup.

5. Right of appeal to the supervisory authority.

According to Art.77 DSGVO, you have the right to lodge a complaint with the supervisory authority if you consider that the processing of your personal data infringes the GDPR.

6. Right to information, right to erasure, objection to data processing and right to data portability.

According to Art.15 DSGVO you have a right to information about your personal data, according to Art.17 DSGVO you have a right to erasure, according to Art.21 DSGVO you have a right to object to data processing, according to Art.18 DSGVO you have a right to restrict data processing and according to Art.20 DSGVO you have a right to data portability.
