1. Processing of personal data within the digital presences
1.1 Collection and processing of personal data on websites
The delivery and presentation of content via massup’s websites technically requires the collection of certain data. Thus, the following data, among others, are stored by us or by the provider of the web space:

We store and process other personal data only if you provide it to us, for example, for registration, within a contact form, or for the performance of a contract. The storage and processing is always carried out in accordance with applicable legal regulations or on the basis of a granted consent.

This is done only to the extent necessary in each case.
massup uses the data you provide us for registration, within a contact form, or for the execution of a contract for the purposes mentioned above, as well as
– for customer administration
– for product surveys and marketing if you have given your consent
– processing and billing of contracts
This is done only to the extent necessary in each case.
1.3 Deletion of your personal data
Your personal data will be deleted as soon as the purpose for which we collected and processed the data no longer applies. Beyond this point in time, data will only be stored if this is required by valid legal regulations of the European Union or the Federal Republic of Germany. In addition, we process personal data for purposes of safeguarding our legitimate interests as well as the legitimate interests of third parties in accordance with Art.6 para. 1f DSGVO.
1.4 Social plug-ins and transfer of personal data to third parties
We use so-called „social plug-ins“ from social networks such as Google+ or Facebook on our websites. These are integrated as follows:
When you access our websites, the „social plug-ins“ are deactivated, i.e. there is no transmission of data to the operators of these social networks. If you wish to use one of the social networks, click on the corresponding „Social PlugIn“ to activate it and a connection will be established with the server of the respective social network. If you are logged in to the social network at the moment of activating the „Social PlugIn“, the social network can assign your visit to our websites to your user account there. Then the social network transmits content directly to your browser, which integrates it into our websites. At this moment, data may also be transmitted that is initiated and controlled by the respective social network. Please bear in mind that this may involve personal data being transferred to countries outside the European Economic Area that do not ensure an „adequate level of protection“ from the perspective of the European Union. If you log out of the social network before activating the „Social PlugIn“, the social network cannot assign your visit to our websites. An activated „Social PlugIn“ remains active until you deactivate it or delete your cookies.
Cookie notices
For all connection from your device to the social network, the privacy policy of the corresponding social network applies exclusively.
1.5 Newsletter
You can sign up on our website to receive our newsletter. For this, we only need your e-mail address and a confirmation that you have read the declaration of consent and the privacy policy. To ensure that you are actually the owner of the e-mail address provided and that you wish to receive the newsletter, we use the so-called „double opt-in“ procedure. With this procedure, you will receive a message with a confirmation link after registering for the newsletter. Only after clicking on the confirmation link are you activated to receive the newsletter.
We will use the personal data provided when registering for the newsletter only for sending the newsletter, unless you have agreed to further use.
You can unsubscribe from the newsletter at any time using the option provided in the newsletter.
1.6 SSL encryption
Our website uses SSL encryption when transmitting confidential or personal content. This encryption is activated, for example, when you register for the newsletter via our website. Please make sure that SSL encryption is activated for you. The use of encryption is easy to recognize: The address line in your browser starts with „https://“. Data transmitted via SSL encryption cannot be read by third parties.
